Reviews and Ratings
Yamba Backpackers YHA is a hidden gem with a warm community vibe, making it feel more special than other popular spots. The staff genuinely care for guests, evident in the way they went out of their way to help me during a tough time. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, but the kitchen facilities could use a bit more space. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay, especially for those looking to enjoy local experiences.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the bright side, the customer service was genuinely great, and the free parking was a nice perk. However, the room left much to be desired, feeling a bit unclean and not very fresh. The overall value for the price paid did not feel justified, especially with a few maintenance issues.
I had a very mixed experience during my stay. On the one hand, the hostel had some nice aspects like the helpfulness of the staff and the $5 pizza night, but on the other hand, the room conditions and common areas left a lot to be desired. The heat in the rooms made sleeping difficult, and the kitchen and bathrooms were not well maintained. Overall, it’s a place with potential but needs significant improvements.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The customer service was truly outstanding and the café downstairs served excellent coffee, but my room was a letdown. It didn’t feel clean or fresh, and there were some maintenance issues that really detracted from my stay. Overall, it felt a bit pricey for the experience I had.
My stay at YHA Yamba was overall a lovely experience. The staff really made an effort to welcome us, which added a warm touch to our backpacking journey. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. On the downside, I felt that the property could use some minor upgrades and cleanliness improvements. Nevertheless, the friendly service and great dining options made up for it!
